The Denver Nuggets celebrated 40 years of basketball in Denver by wearing these ABA Denver Rockets uniforms periodically throughout the 2006-07 season.
The Rockets played in the NBA from 1969-74. In 1974 anticipating their move to the NBA in 1976 the team held a contest to choose a new name since the Rockets already existed in Houston. Nuggets was the winner chosen in honor of the first basketball team in Denver. From 1948-50 the original Denver Nuggets played in both the BAA and NBL before folding in 1950. 100% Polyester.

The jersey is great but we had a bit of a nightmare in the process of receiving it. I got the jersey for my daughter's birthday and I was sent the wrong jersey -- instead of the MPJ jersey, I was sent a Devin Booker jersey. It took multiple communications and over a month to actually get the right jersey. My daughter wasn't able to wear the jersey to the game we took her to. I will not be purchasing product from this site again. Ro*****P.
